Web hosting question - L@@K?

I already have a domain name and built the website, I need to host the web site, the problem is most of the web hosting company charge up front which is like $200+ is there a good hosting company and chages monthly not up front?

I use Go Daddy, for about $10.00 per month or less. Too, there are some free ones which add banners and such. I use Go Daddy for both domain name registration and hosting and it works fine.

Reply:I was asking this question myself last year and found I could host it myself on my Windows XP machine and my broadband connection. I've been running my own website for over a year now.





If you have a broadband connection you can host the site on your computer, even if you have a dynamic IP address. Check out the site http://www.everydns.net

Reply:i don't know which company you have looked at but from what i know or most of the web hosting site i came across to offer hosting yearly plan somewhere around USD30 - USD60 for their smallest package. check my profile to go to my site to see web hosting company that i recommend or some guidelines how to pick a web hosting.
