I'm looking for an online tool where i can enter a domain name or IP address and have it come back and tell me who the web host is.

www.whois.net will tell you the owner of the site and should give you the DNS servers which are the hosting company.

Reply:You can search IP Addresses at the American Registry for Internet Numbers (ARIN) at www.arin.net.





Further infomation as well as links to other Registries outside the ARIN coverage are can be found by searching I.P. Addresses on Wikipedia.
